Jul, Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov.....(JASON)

Summer is winding down, and it's time to soak up every last drop of sunshine! Pre-season football is in full swing (Go Bears!), and Team USA is crushing it with 19 gold medals and 71 medals in total. Meanwhile, I'm putting the finishing touches on some new tunes for my upcoming recording project. The performances haven't slowed down, either.

One highlight was the Ross Island Grocery Gig, hosted by the fantastic folks at Local Roots Music. I reconnected with some old friends and had the rare chance to perform a night of original songs.

Last night, I had the pleasure of playing at a hidden gem called the Barrel Room. For those who've been following along, you know the first time I was supposed to play there, I got sick. This time, I made it, and I was blown away by the place. The aesthetic, the warmth of Jimmy the owner, and the incredible stage setup—it felt like Ash Street Saloon if the Hard Rock Café wizard had worked their magic.

I'd love to spread the word about this place. It's tucked away on Couch Street, and while the location might seem less desirable (especially if you've had gear stolen before), rest assured, once you step inside, you're in for a musical Shangri-La. Pop in, check it out, and help me spread the word so we can all enjoy this gem come fall. Love y'all!
